A2 Government & Politics

There is no diffinitive textbook for the A2 Global Politics course however the three books identified below are refered to regularly. We would recomend that you try and purchase at least one of them
Kegley, Charles W. 'World Politics: Trend and Transformation' (11th or 12th Edition)
Kegley is arguably the most accessible for A level students
Baylis, John et al. 'The Globalisation of World Politics - an introduction to international relations' (4th edition)
Baylis is the standard undergraduate textbook for an international relations degree and very comprehensive.
Rourke, John T. 'International Politics on the world stage' (12 edition)

A Very Short Introduction
A highly recomended series of books that encapsulates all that you absolutely need to know about many issues and organisations.
Wilkinson, Paul. 'International Relations: A Very short introduction'

Clapham, Andrew. 'Human Rights: A Very short introduction'
